Heavy-Duty MDF Panel for Furniture, Cabinetry, and Interior Millwork.
The MDF Std 4×8 3/4″ is a thick, high-stability engineered wood panel designed for interior applications requiring strength, precision, and a flawless painted finish. Manufactured from finely refined wood fibres compressed under high pressure, it provides a uniform, void-free structure with consistent density throughout the sheet.
At 3/4″ thickness, this panel offers excellent rigidity and durability, making it a preferred choice for cabinetry, shelving, furniture construction, interior doors, and architectural millwork. It holds its shape well under load and provides a reliable substrate for detailed fabrication and finishing work.
Both faces are smooth and sanded, allowing for superior paint adhesion and a high-quality finished appearance. Its consistent density makes it ideal for CNC machining, routing, and detailed profile work where clean edges and precision are important.
Standard MDF is intended for dry, interior environments only. It must be sealed before finishing and protected from moisture exposure, as it can absorb water and swell if left unprotected.
Key Features of MDF Std 4×8 3/4″:
Thick 3/4″ panel for maximum interior strength and stability, smooth sanded surface for high-end painted finishes, uniform density with no voids or grain variation, excellent machining and routing performance, ideal for cabinetry, furniture, and millwork, and designed for dry indoor applications.
Pro Tips:
Always seal edges, cut lines, and routed profiles before painting to prevent uneven absorption. Use carbide tooling for CNC or routing work to achieve smooth, clean results and extend tool life.
